Fruit in Action has transformed my life! The devotionals are not only inspiring but also deeply rooted in faith. The teaching materials have enriched my understanding and helped me grow spiritually. I love the animated books for children; they make learning fun and engaging. The commitment to supporting disabled veterans is commendable, and I feel proud to be part of this mission. Every product reflects love and dedication, making a positive impact in our community.

Where the Fruit meets the road…
Virgil Edge Memorial Veteran Life Center
The Virgil Edge Memorial Veteran Life Center exists to provide stability, dignity, and community for veterans who have given much in service to others. This Life Center is rooted in the belief that faith is not only something we profess, but something we live out through care, consistency, and compassion.
Named in honor of Virgil Edge, a disabled Vietnam veteran, this Life Center stands as a tribute to a generation that served faithfully and often carried the lasting weight of that service long after returning home. His life and legacy remind us that veterans deserve more than gratitude—they deserve ongoing care and support.
Who We Serve
The Virgil Edge Memorial Veteran Life Center is designed to serve moderately disabled veterans who benefit from a structured, supportive living environment.
Our first Life Center will serve men, with the hope that future centers may be established to also serve women as resources and partnerships allow.
Our vision of care…
We seek to provide more than housing. Our vision includes:
- A safe and stable residential environment
- Opportunities for community and connection
- Support that respects each veteran’s dignity and independence
- An atmosphere grounded in faith, encouragement, and consistency
This Life Center is intended to be a place where veterans are not defined by limitations, but valued for who they are.
Looking Ahead
The Virgil Edge Memorial Veteran Life Center represents the beginning of a broader vision—one rooted in service, stewardship, and long-term commitment to veterans in need. As this work grows, our hope is to establish additional Life Centers that reflect the same values and care.
An Invitation
We invite individuals, families, and communities to come alongside this mission through prayer, awareness, and partnership, as together we seek to honor those who have served by meeting real needs in real ways.
